Issue: A recent phishing attack has increased in exposure and reach claiming that Coinbase, a popular cryptocurrency platform, is migrating some of its technology. A link is provided to ‘assist’ with the migration, but provides access to your entire wallet, allowing all assets to be drained.
Resolution: As this is a newer attack, many e-mail platforms are not filtering it out. Please be cautious and warn your clients of this attack.

These vulnerabilities, while wide spread, all act similarly, allowing remote code to be executed within your network.
Resolution: If you have a router or firewall by one of these brands, please check for a security update immediately. All vendors are reporting to have applied and made patches available.
Risk 3: High
Issue: A security certificate for the Firefox web browser expired and needs replaced immediately. Without this certificate, users are unable to verify the authenticity of much web content, allowing for malicious content and code to be accessed.
Resolution: Please update your Firefox browser immediately.

Issue: Apple has announced multiple security vulnerabilities on its broad range of Apple devices; most of these are connected to their WebKit library, commonly used by applications to access web-based content. The latest information about this vulnerability is that it not only allows access to data, but allows for remote code execution as well.
Resolution: Apple has released an update on all impacted platforms. Users should update their operating systems immediately on all laptops, desktops, tablets, phones, and TV devices.
Risk 5: High
Issue: Microsoft has pushed out 104 security-related updates across Windows 10, Windows 11, and Microsoft Office.
Resolution: Please update your Windows and Office as soon as possible.
