Issue: Microsoft has realized a significant issue with a recent update (24H2) causing the “Blue Screen of Death” (freezing) on Intel-based computers. This issue does not impact AMD-based computers.
Resolution: Microsoft has inhibited Intel-based machines from receiving this update. In the event that you have already installed this update, Microsoft is working on an update; please stand by patiently.

Issue: A flaw in a recent NVIDIA ToolKit update allows for remote host access and management, including access to remote processing capabilities and, potentially, some data.
Resolution: NVIDIA has already released a patch to correct this flaw. Please access your NVIDIA ToolKit and apply the most recent update.

Issue: Mozilla has been accused of tracking user data and traffic without consent, including if the using was using private browsing functionality. This is related to the Privacy-Preserving Attribution enabled in version 128 released in July 2024.
Resolution: It is recommended that all Firefox users disable this feature. Instructions can be found here.

Issue: Kapersky’s tools removed from Google Play Store following sanctions over security concerns related to the Russian owned company.
Resolution: It is highly suggested that you remove all Kapersky-related products and cleanse any traces of the tools and its data on your system.
